Disabled Access

Unfortunately, we do not have any parking available at the practice, but there are three car parks nearby. The bus station car park and castle streetcar park are both pay and display. Byefield Lane car park is free most days except Tuesdays. We do not have steps to get into the practice, we have a wide front door that allows access for a wheelchair and a double buggy. An area is available in reception for wheelchairs and a low desk is here to allow for easy access. We have four surgeries at the practice with three having disabled access. We have a practice banana board which is available for any patient who already uses one at home to transfer onto the chair. We’re sorry but due to health and safety we would not allow someone to use one without prior experience. We are dementia family practice and have some dementia tips and tricks that we can share with you in order to help someone with their oral health, whether it’s the patient, carer or a family member we can offer advice to suit.

Medication

If you take any medication, please make sure that your dentist is aware of this. Certain medicines can affect your dental treatment so it’s very important to update us on any changes.

Dental Chairs

Our dental chairs have a weight limit of 21 stone. We understand that it can be an uncomfortable and upsetting conversation but we ask that you please inform us if you are over this weight as not doing so could put you, and us at risk during treatment
